Designs By Sundown Featured on HGTV’s Landscapers’ Challenge first visit to Denver
Three residential landscape designers from Denver and their companies recently competed on HGTV’s top-rated reality series Landscapers’ Challenge. Designs By Sundown’s award-winning landscape designer, Paul Wrona, was selected by the homeowners as best capturing their desires for a kid-friendly yet inviting front yard. His design was turned into reality on national television with the help of our construction crew led by foreman, Rafael Salvidrez.The episode aired on HGTV* Thursday evening, August 31st at 7:30 and 11:30 p.m.and Saturday morning, September 2nd, at 9:00 a.m.
This was the show’s first visit to Denver with actual production taking place last summer. The homeowners live in a 1940’s brick home located just minutes from Invesco Field and Downtown Denver.
The challenge ... complete renovation of their front yard turning unusable space into an inviting and functional, yet low-maintenance, outdoor living area for their home. Each designer presented their plan based on the owner’s budget, taste and lifestyle.
The results … Paul Wrona's design was selected by the homeowners. Designs By Sundown's construction crew installed the landscape featured on the show.
