In 2015, a commercial property in Englewood presented us with a challenge that would test the limits of speed, coordination, and craftsmanship. The scope of work included sod installation, hardscaping, tree planting, and more — a project that would normally take two full weeks to complete. But the client needed it done in just two days.
Rather than shy away, our team leaned in. Five construction crews volunteered to work through the weekend, each assigned to a different section of the landscape. To keep spirits high and motivation strong, we turned the project into a friendly competition, dubbing it the “Landscape Olympics.”
Crews were challenged to complete their sections not only quickly, but with precision and care. Project managers oversaw the work, ensuring each area met our standards and came together as a cohesive whole.
By Sunday evening, the transformation was complete. The entire project had been installed in just one weekend, and the client was thrilled. It was a moment of pride for our team — proof that when we work together, even the biggest challenges can be met with excellence and a little fun.
